Tibor Koltay is a Dr. habil., Professor and Head of the Department of Information and Library Studies at Szent István University, Hungary. He has a Certificate of Advanced Studies in Library and Information Science from Kent State University and was a Fulbright Research Scholar at the same institution, and holds a PhD in Russian Linguistics from Eötvös Loránd University. His areas of teaching include: abstracting, collection development, digitization, information sources and reference, information systems, and research methods. Dr. Koltay has produced a wide variety of publications including the book, “Abstracts and Abstracting,” published by Chandos.
