Sarah WrightLife Sciences Librarian for Research
Sarah is the Life Sciences Librarian for Research at Cornell University. In that role, she does a lot of different things, including reference, instruction and liaison services. Her passion, as a former researcher turned librarian, is research support, and she’s an active member of the Research Data Management Service Group (RDMSG), a collaborative, campus-wide organization that assists with creating and implementing data management plans, applying best practices for managing data, and identifying appropriate data management services.
Sarah has presented nationally on data management training, has been published in the 2015 book, Data Information Literacy: Librarians, Data, and the Education of a New Generation of Researchers (ed. Carlson and Johnston, 2015), and is an expert presenter for the ACRL’s Research Data Management Roadshow. She has a B.S. in Biochemistry, Cellular and Molecular Biology, and M.S. degrees in Botany and in Information Science.
