Michael Witt is the head of the Distributed Data Curation Center (D2C2) and an Associate Professor of Library Science at Purdue University. He is the project director for the Purdue University Research Repository, leading a collaboration of the library, research office, and campus information technology in the design and implementation of an institutional data repository and supporting data services. Witt serves on the Organizational Advisory Board of the Research Data Alliance, the editorial boards of Information Technology and Libraries and Databib, and the DMPTool Steering Committee.
