Judith E. Pasek
Judith joined the University of Wyoming Libraries as a STEM Liaison Librarian in July 2014. She provides reference and research services and information literacy instruction to support faculty and students, especially in the sciences. She is liaison to the College of Engineering and Applied Science. Judith has an MLIS plus a Graduate Certificate in Information Management/Information Analytics from Wayne State University. She has published on liaison librarians’ roles and information policy.
Prior to becoming a librarian, Judith worked as an entomologist for the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service and the U.S. Forest Service. Her entomology experience has spanned research, technology transfer and assistance, data management, program analysis, and management responsibilities. She has a BS in Natural Resources from the University of Michigan, an MS in Entomology from the University of Missouri, and a PhD in Entomology from the University of Nebraska. She has published scientific articles on topics of forest pest biology and management, and pest risk analysis of exotic species.
