As Enterprise Architect at the University of St Andrews, Anna leads a program of information management improvement. This includes identifying golden sources of data and supporting the "enter once: reuse many" principle leading to improved corporate data quality to support better decision-making and operational processes.

She has worked with research information for more than10 years, including designing and implementing one of the first institutional CRIS-IR platforms in 2006, acting as data and technical expert on the RAE2008 and REF2014 assessments, and as data architect and project manager on the first UK implementation of Pure.

Anna is on the euroCRIS Board, a member of the JISC UK Research Information Management Group, founding Chair of the Pure UK Users Group, and plays an active role in advocating and demonstrating the adoption of standards (CERIF) and harmonized reporting requirements cross the research landscape to improve data quality while reducing overall burden on the sector.
