Then Elena Zapryanova-Hadjinikolova, COUNTER Executive Committee and Director Analytics, Elsevier, will take you step-by-step through the new reports and familiarize you with their use cases. Lorraine Estelle, COUNTER Project Director

Lorraine joined COUNTER as Project Director in September 2015. In this role, Lorraine provides leadership to COUNTER as well as focusing on the development of the COUNTER Code of Practice, membership relationships, and operational procedures. Prior to joining COUNTER, Lorraine was the CEO of Jisc Collections, the organization that negotiates with publishers at a national level to procure and license affordable digital content for the UK education and research community. There she has managed and conducted a wide range of projects, with an interest in new business models for electronic information resources and led the development of several shared services including the Journals Usage Statistics Portal (JUSP). Lorraine is one of the panel of judges for the ALPSP Awards for Innovation in Publishing and is also co-editor of Insights: the UKSG Journal.

 

 

Elena Zapryanova-Hadjinikolova, COUNTER Executive Committee

Elena is a member of the COUNTER Executive Committee and Director Analytics, Elsevier. Since she joined Elsevier in 2010, Elena has worked with product and marketing teams across several of Elsevier’s digital platforms, leveraging data and user-centered analytics to help teams develop deep understanding of how researchers use digital content. Elena is passionate about data and the power of user-centered analytics to contribute to better research outcomes.
